6ixElement
Toronto's premier modeling & talent agency — as a platform. Not a brochure site:
a working two-sided system with a public talent showcase, separate client and model portals, an
apply pipeline, and an automated gig-sourcing engine running behind the scenes. Live at
6ixelement.club.
The brand
A talent agency lives or dies on how its people look, so the brand is built around imagery. The identity
pairs a cold, premium slate-and-electric-blue palette with a heavy condensed display ("DISCOVER YOUR
POTENTIAL") and dramatic black-and-white model photography sliced into angled panels. It reads
editorial and aspirational — fashion-house, not classifieds — while the colour-coded portal entries (client, model)
signal that this is a real platform, not a landing page.
Social media management
A talent agency is its feed. @6ix.element is one of our showcase social accounts —
a tightly art-directed Instagram presence that doubles as the agency's storefront: a consistent, high-fashion grid
that makes models look bookable and the agency look national.
- High-fashion art direction — every post is styled to agency-standard; the grid sells the roster.
- Talent & campaign content — model features, castings, and brand work, scheduled on a consistent cadence.
- A discovery channel — the feed feeds the funnel: new talent applies, new clients book.
The frontend
- A talent showcase — browse and filter models, actors, dancers and performers with fast, image-heavy galleries.
- Two distinct portals — a client portal for booking and shortlisting talent, and a model portal for managing profiles, availability, and casting calls.
- An apply pipeline and a free "Model Guide" lead magnet that feeds the talent roster.
- Built mobile-first for a demographic that lives on their phones.
- A dedicated 36-page local-SEO engine — city, discipline, and use-case pages built and shipped as their own programmatic layer, not an afterthought bolted onto the homepage.
- An honest analytics tab in the admin — the real click-through funnel, bot traffic separated out, so growth decisions are made on real numbers, not inflated ones.
The backend — the serious part
- A talent database (MySQL) powering search, portals, and bookings — the single source of truth for the roster.
- The autogig pipeline — an automated sourcing engine that scrapes gig and casting opportunities, structures them, and matches them to the right talent: the agency's growth flywheel, automated.
- A large managed media store (tens of gigabytes of model photography) with an admin pipeline for ingestion and curation.
- Multi-mailbox email infrastructure — dedicated, authenticated senders (talent, info, bookings, castings, stylist) on hardened SMTP for blast campaigns and transactional mail.
- An admin console for roster management, gig review, and campaign control — the operational cockpit behind the public site.
- A bot-vs-human classification layer on every click and visit event — a real truth layer under the funnel, so marketing spend gets judged against actual human engagement, not scraper traffic.
- Account lifecycle tracking — password-set and login events instrumented end-to-end, so the funnel from "clicked an ad" to "became an active model" is fully measurable, not guessed at.
